Role: Researcher, UX-Texter, UX/UI Designer
Duration: 6 months
Tools: Figma, Miro, UsabilityHub, Optimal Sort, Photoshop
Learnings:
In this project, I learned to set up a new project from scratch. The better the research is done, the more understanding one has developed for the user, the better the product will be in the end. I also gained a deep understanding of the iterative process of testing and refining.
This Project was developed during a UX Design course at Careerfoundry.
Task
Sewing and Knitting Aficionados get often stuck on their projects. Especially newcomers to the handicrafts field often face challenges in realizing the product they want to create. In this project, I designed an expert chat app, where students can book paid consulting experts or join group lessons.
Two user groups were created: Students and Experts. Experts can also benefit from this app, as the service can provide an additional stream of income.
Solution
I designed a responsive web app that can connect students with experienced handicraft experts. The student can communicate with the expert via chat and video call.
Process
