Hello, I am Gabriel Baradee!
I’m a professional fashion designer with 17+ years of experience and one of the pioneers of sustainable fashion in Austria. As the founder of the eco-conscious label Shakkei and owner of the Shakkei Design Store in Vienna, I merge timeless aesthetics with environmental responsibility to create fashion that’s both beautiful and future-ready.
But my expertise doesn’t stop at design.
With a background in UX design, I bring a user-centered mindset into every aspect of my work — from clothing that moves and feels right, to in-store experiences that engage the senses. I design with empathy — blending fashion, functionality, and customer insight.
I also apply gamification principles in retail UX, creating interactive in-store and digital experiences that boost engagement, deepen customer loyalty, and make shopping more enjoyable. From QR/NFC-driven exhibitions to mission-based retail journeys, I design experiences that turn customers into active participants.
In addition, I’m trained in prompt engineering, a skill that enhances my ability to solve problems creatively and adapt quickly — essential in today’s fast-paced design and retail environments. I am also highly experienced in using a wide range of AI tools, which I leverage to streamline workflows, generate design concepts, and enhance both digital and physical user experiences.
